I am currently studying an Art Foundation course at Chichester College , over the duration of the course we have looked at many different areas of art and design including ; film making , textiles , fashion promotion and photography and abstract painting. From this I have begun to develop my own style of work which is in the area of surface pattern/print design.

 

I have good technical and creative skills in Adobe Photoshop , illustrator and Indesign.

 

I am passionate about creating prints inspired by nature and manipulating the imagery using colour , shape and texture to create beautiful patterns that can be translated into textiles for fashion or interiors. I want to continue exploring the theme of nature but also begin to look at Eco friendly fashion and trying to create prints from recycled materials and inks/dyes that are less harmful to the emviroment. As I develop my own style through print , I also hope to be able to share skills and techniques with others in developing countries as a part of the design cycle.
